Hi all,

I'm new to infopath. My only objective is to create a web-based form to
allow internet users to fill in the forms and submit the values to server. I
know HTML form can be used, but it is not tidy and print-friendly enough. If
it is the case, can infopath satisfy me? do infopath requires every client to
have a copy of infopath software in order to open the form?

Is there any sofware/solution can I use?

Users will require InfoPath to fill out the forms.

InfoPath should work for what you are looking for.

What do you mean by web-based?  A link on a webpage to an InfoPath
template which could be published to a webserver or a network share
should work.  When the link is clicked the template will open inside
InfoPath on the client.
