My computer came with MS Office Home and Student pre-installed - as far as I
can tell. I installed MS Office 2003 which I bought. I expected that I could
remove Office 2007, but I am not able to do that through the control panel.
When I try to uninstall MS 2007, it seems to be uninstalled but remains
showing on the 'Add and Remove Programs' and eventually takes over -
identifying my Office programs and causing me to get into 2007 instead of
into 2003 as I want to do.

Anything I can do?

Try looking in the registry for any residual keys relating to Office 2007.

I am a little afraid of messing with the registry. However, my baic problem
seems to be solved. I didn't read the Office Live site well enough. Office
2007 hasn't given me a problem since I went there unselected the programs for
2007 and saved it. Thanks for your help.
