I have a master/detail section in my form. one of the columns in the
mast section is # of images , I have a button in this column and when
a certain event runs i update a field in the data source with the # of
images. what i want to do is change the button text to the number in
the field when that number changes. Easy enough to use the changed
event of the field but HOW on earth do i access the button in that row
so that i can change its text to display something new?

Thanks,
Erin

Turns out it's quite easy.. here's what you do in Infopath 2007

1. Double click on button.
2. Click on formula button beside Label field.
3. Click on Insert Field or Group.
4. Select the field which you want to display as button name.
