I have no experience in Infopath and am now responsible for developing in it.
My background is VB.

I want to key in an ID number, have the app read a SQL Server database with
that ID and load the fields that I need on a form so that they can be edited.
It doesn't get much simpler than that, but I cannot for the life of me figure
out how to do it in Infopath.

Help?

I don't know.  I just know that there is data out there in tables; I'm not
familiar with the app that wrote the data in the first place.
