Is there any way to auto fill other boxes on a list with data from a text
box.. Not from a drop down list?

(InfoPath SP1 and SharePoint portal server) is there a nice easy way to have
the form saved and 'push' the values of the boxes to another SharePoint list?
A straight copy value for value to a new item/ update an existing item?
Thanks

You can do this a number of ways, including default values (check out the
f(x) button), rules, and code. The right one to use depends on your scenario
and prefered style.
