i've created a form and published it to my sharepoint site. when that form is
submitted it sends an email notice to the person selected, but recently i'm
getting alot of calls about the form not submitting ODDLY when i try to
submit the form it almost always works. (i created the form and published it)

any ideas on why this happens and how i can fix it?

thanks,

Look in the sender's email sent box and see if  the email and form (as an
attachment) are there.

If not, it probably didnt send.

they access the form online from the sharepoint site, submitting just saves
the form on sharepoint and sends out an emial notice, it doesn't actually
send the form.

"infopath cannot submit the form.

Is the form being submitted to the same location the users fill it
out? Have you verified that they have contributor permissions to the
site that the form submits to?

yes it does get submitted to the same location it's published to and i have
domain users set to contributor.
