Arrange Name,address and other info Alphabetically

I have a sreadsheet with event registation on it ( names, addresses and
telephone ect)  the problem is when I put the names in Alphabetical order the
other information does not follow?  I have used the function that will help
me once before and just can not remember what it is.....

Make a copy of your file and learn how to sort in the copy file first.
Select the top-left cell of all the data you want to sort. (Click on that
cell)
Scroll down and to the right and find the bottom-right cell of all your
data.
Hold the Shift key down and click on that bottom-right cell.
You have now selected all the data you want to sort.
Click on Data - Sort in the menu that runs across the top of the screen.
Select the column by which you want to sort.
Select whether or not the selected data includes a header row.
Click OK.  Done.
