Try this in any starting cell, say in B2: =IF(ROWS($1:1)>26,CHAR(MOD(ROWS($1:1)-1,26)+65)&INT((ROWS($1:1)-1)/26),CHAR(MOD(ROWS($1:1)-1,26)+65)) Copy down as far as required.
