how do I import act contact into excel worksheet

I hve created a worksheet in excel and wish to import contact information
into the work sheet. I have seen this done by using formulas, where do I
start?

The contact information is located where?

If you mean contacts from Outlook then just open Outlook and File>Import and
Export.

Export to Excel or *.csv which can be opened in Excel.
