formula to change back ground cell color according to a value

I need a formula to change the back ground color of a  cell according to a
certain value

You don't use a formula for this, uyou use conditional formating.  On the
worksheet menu use Format - Conditional Formating.  Select either "Cell Value
Is" or "formula Is".
