I am attempting to save a worksheet as a CSV or TXT file to import into
another program. When I attempt to save as the nly file options presented are
xls or all file types. I save the file with a csv extension.
When I attempt to import the file it is not recognized as a CSV. Save thing
when I save as txt.
Am I missing something. Using Excel 2003 SP#.
Note we are also integrated with Hummingbird DM5 (OPEN TEXT)

If it's anything like Excel/Office 2000, I believe you have to install that
feature. Might not be part of the default installation. There's quite a long
list of filters available on the install CD, and MS correctly assumes that
many users won't need them all.

Try open your file with notepad. If you see comma in between fields, it is csv.
