When I click on Calendar in the OUtlook Navigation pane it still shows me my
mail screen. The same applies when I click on Contacts or Tasks. The only way
I can now view the Calendar etc is to click on folder list and then click on
Calendar etc.

It benver used toi do this and I don;t know what Ive done to change the
views - not that it matters what I did, I just want it back to normal, so
that when I click on Mail - I see mail, when I click on Contacts - I see
contacts, etc.

Try starting Outlook one time with the /resetfolder switch.
