I am having the same problem. I have three PC's running Vista/Outlook 2007
(Office Standard 2007). One is a desktop which I upgraded from XP with SP2
to Vista Premium Upgrade and Outlook 2007 (Office Standard 2007). Another is
a laptop which was upgraded from XP SP2 to Premium Upgrade and Outlook 2007
(Office Standard 2007). The third is a recently purchased new laptop with
pre-installed Vista Ultimate and which I installed Outlook 2007 (Office
Standard 2007).
All of these PC's are now having this problem. When I send an email, the
status on the lower right screen shows the send was completed but the outbox
still shows the message. To clear the message from the outbox, I have to
delete it. If I try another send/receive before deleting it, I can not exit
Outlook without going to Task Manager and forcing it closed. If I have
multiple messages in the outbox which do not clear, Outlook will go into
endless attempts to send them (into the tens of thousands).
This is very frustrating! Microsoft needs to create a fix for this soon!

I am having the Same problems. My email outbox status shows 4 emails being
sent, but there are none to go out. Not one has ever left my outbox. I
receive them fine, but can't send them.
Vista Business, Microsoft Office 2007, New Sony Vaio Computer, Norton 360
Contacted Norton tried all their ideas, no help. Removed Norton and still
could not send emails. So obviously not a Norton problem.
Anyone found a way to resolve this????
Thanks for your time and help

Same problem. new outlook 2007, HP vista home premium pc, norton. It was
crashing when opening or on email comand until I created new profile. Does
not crash now.
DId not have send button. Pulled send/recieve button onto toolbar. But it
does not work nor does F9.
Now I have email stuck in outbox. And do not recieve. It looks like it is
setup correctly in outlook.
Any ideas would be appreciated. No add ins.
