I keep getting this message with Outlook 2007:
'The required file naCmnLib71.dll cannot be found in your path. Install
Microsoft Outlook again.'
Then Outlook closes.
I have run the diagnostics - re-installed Outlook
Nothing works.
Help Please

That DLL appears to be a Network Associates (McAfee) file.  Did you remove
some version of McAfee antivirus software at some point?

I had mcafee anti-virus installed. I uninstalled it and installed the
anti-virus and firewall software my isp, charter.net, provides and the
problem went away. It appears to be a mcafee problem. I hope my new
anti-virus software is at least as good.

Thanks for replying.

With Outlook closed, try deleting the file extend.dat, found in the (usually
hidden) folder
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook (for WIndows
XP/2000) or, I believe, %UserProfile%\Local\AppData\Microsoft\Outlook for
Vista.

I am getting same problem, but removing file mentioned does not help.  Any
other ideas??

Same problem, meaning exactly the same error, mentioning the same DLL
(naCmnLib71.dll)?  If not, then it's not the same problem and you should
post in a separate thread.
