Is there a way to create multiple accounts in Outlook? My wife and I share
our home computer. We used to have different log-in accounts that allowed us
to have two separate outlook accounts. Recently our computer crashed and when
I got it repaired, the person told me that having multiple long-in accounts
was really hard on the computer. We have decided not to do that anymore, but
we would still like to have separate outlook accounts (or folders), so my
emails are retrieved in my Inbox and her emails in her's. If we can, we don't
want to share an Inbox.
Is that possible?

I really don't know why the hell you shouldn't have diffrent accounts on your
computer...sounds to me like the guy who fixed your stuff is talking nonsense!
Anyways if you want to have only one windows login you can still create
diffrent outlook profiles: Control Panel / Mail / Profiles

Of course. That's a fairly basic feature of most (all?) mail clients.

Separate Windows logins is the best way to go, in my opinion.

If you're using a single Windows user, then whether or not setting up
separate mail accounts in Outlook will be practical depends on your mail
accounts on the ISP. If you have separate mailboxes (i.e., you each use a
different username and password to login to your ISP's webmail interface and
when you do you see different content), then using separate mail profiles
(Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>Add) will allow you to keep your mail
completely separate. DIfferent Contacts, Calendar, Inbox, etc. If,
however, you're actually sharing a mailbox on the ISP's mail server (mail
for both of you is stored in the same place on the server and you both use
the same username/password to login, even if you have apparently separate
mail addresses), then it's more difficult. You'd need to use rules to sort
the incoming mail into separat folders based on the receiving address and it
will be more difficult to have separate contacts, calendar, etc.
