Outlook doesn't use the wab-file to store contacts in. Outlook keeps the
Contacts folder together with all your mail, appointments, tasks, etc... in
a single pst-file.
To restore your pst-file see;

Hi:
Thanks for the tip, but the only *.pst files I see on the entire C:
drive are my archive Inbox/Sent messages. I do see
files called:
Tom 173KB Address Book File
Tom.wab~ 173KB WAB~ File
Which I have been assuming that these are the address files, but can't
seem get anyway to access them. Does anyone know
what tool can read these files properly? I'm not looking forward to
rebuilding the address/contacts list....
Thanks
Tom

Those files are for Outlook Express and not Microsoft Office Outlook.
