How do I turn off the "You've Got Mail" voice notification in Outlook 2003? I
have a new Toshiba laptop and changing the default in sounds in the control
panel doesn't turn it off. I had someone respond once and it worked, but I
had to wipe out my hard drive and reconfigure my computer, and now I can't
shut off the annoying "you've got mail" voice notification.  HELP!

That is a Toshiba application doing that and not Outlook. Use Add/Remove
Programs to uninstall it.
