I come from Novell - Groupwise to Outlook and what I don't get is how and where to add the exception to the OOA rule. Is it within the OOA or within the Rules and Alerts? Click Advanced. Select "Only items that do not match these conditions". Click OK. Add some condition, like "Alert with" and play a sound.
