I need to create a rule for an "Out of Office" Auto-Reply that will not reply
to Listserves that we receive.

Just add the addresses that should not receive the message as an exception
to the OOA rule.

Thank you Brian,

I get the part about adding the addresses that should not receive a reply in
the rule.  I come from Novell - Groupwise to Outlook and what I don't get is
how and where to add the exception to the OOA rule.  Is it within the OOA or
within the Rules and Alerts?  GroupWise was more manageable in this area.

Tools>Out of Office Assistant>Add Rule.  Enter the list serve address in the
From field.  Click Advanced.  Select "Only items that do not match these
conditions".   Click OK.  Add some condition, like "Alert with" and play a
sound.
