Yes, I have unchecked the Read Only attribute so that's not the problem.

If that one can't do it for you, I don't think it can't be recovered at all.

I've now tried the below office recovery tool, but unfortunately this is also
unable to recover the content. It just responds with "No data to recover
detected".
