Outlook 2007 has started sending only some messages. I can send two messages
to two working gmail accounts, for instance, it will send one and the other
will sit in the outbox.  Outlook has been working fine until now. Have not
made any changes that I know of.

It is being very selective about which emails it will let go.  If I choose
the person from the address book, it will not send, sometimes, but if I just
type the same persons email address in, it will send. Other people it sends
every time.

I've got it narrowed down to this: if I choose a contact from the address
book, which uses my contact list, it will not send the message. It remains in
the outbox. If I type in just the email addresss, it sends.

That simply means your Address Book view does not contain valid email
addresses. How did you create your Contacts and configure your Outlook
Address Book?
If you create a new Contact from scratch, can you send to it from your
address book?

This is a typical address which I chose from my address book which will not
send.
Zachary Studt (sporkubus@gmail.com)
This is exactly how it appears in the To: box

This won't go: Zachary Studt (sporkubus@gmail.com)

This will go: Eric Studt (EricStudt@Yahoo.com)

I found a workaround. I choose "properties" when choosing a contact I want
to email, don't have to make any changes when the contact's info opens, then
save and close, choose "To" for that contact, and then it works.
