Hi,

I am dualbooting XP 64 and Vista Ultimate 74. Both have Office 2007
installed.

The thing is that I use the same PST file (password protected) for both os.
O opened this PST file, set it as default and closed the orignal one that
comes with Outlook install.

Everything seems to work fine, but sometimes when I close outlook and open
it again on Vista, it doesn't ask for my
password anymore. I have to reboot in order to outlook to ask for it again.
It's like this PST file is kept open in the background.

All outlook actions are performed normally though.

It most likely is being kept open in the background. When you close Outlook
does the outlook.exe process actually stops?
If not see http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/outlookdoesntclose.htm
