opening e-mails from outlook

when I try to open a file with a .pps extension, windows media player opens
and says pps file not recognized by windows media player. How do I fix
this??? Thanks

Hi Anne

pps files are files from PowerPoint which belongs to Office. Do you have PowerPoint installed from Office or do you have the pps viewer installed ? Is your pps file extension associated with either of the above and do you have Office at all installed. Let us know.

I just noticed that you have already posted this earlier today. You might want to keep to your original post Anne and not open new posts . If you had a newsreader set up for newsgroups this might not happen and you will be able to find your original post that you have created.

Set up your newsreader for future use and to avoid this bad practice with the Web reader,
