How do I highlight selected text in email in Outlook Express 6?  It doesn't
have the pencil icon for editing as in Word.  I don't mean changing the font
color or entire background, and I don't mean going from a Word document to
email.

Try posting this to an Outlook Express group - this is not one of them.  This group support Outlook from the Microsoft Office suite of productivity programs.  OE is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.
