I unchecked everything Outlook would let me uncheck. Some of the items like
McAfee and 3 Microsoft could not be unchecked. So, ucnchecking what I could
made no difference. It still runs in backround. any other suggestions?
Thanks

You haven't given any specifics on your current Outlook configuration so it
is hard to give specific suggestions as well.
You might want to be more specific on why you can't uncheck either. What
happens when you try?
