Exchange for Outlook 2007?

Ok, we're still on Exchange 2003, so the question is, can Outlook 2007 be
connected to a Exchange 2003 server and still receive, send emails etc?

Just need to know about the compatibility of the Exchange and the current
Outlook 2007. appreciate your help.
