transferring between old/new pst folders in outlook 2003

user has multiple pst folders in old pc and we want to move to new pc. how do
we copy the old folders to show in the new setup without having to open each
one manually? both pc'c are online and can communicate with eachother.

Simply copy the pst files to the new PC. From the new PC, open Outlook
and click on File - Open - Outlook Data File (repeat for the other pst
files).

Unless you add them manually to the mail profile, you cannot see them in
Outlook.  While others may (correctly) advise you to start Outlook and use
File>Open>Outlook Data File, but inclination would be to suggest you use the
Mail applet in Control Panel to add them to your profile before opening
Outlook.

That's a good point, Brian. Especially when opening Outlook for the
first time. I hadn't considered that.

Yes adding before opening is correct. But we actually found that the user had
another pst folder that had sub folders, the first one did not. He didn't
mention the other :) thx guys
