Before I purchase Vista, would like to find out "straight-scoop" if I can use
"Office XP Standard for Students and Teachers, 2002 Version of Office or is
it a must to, also, buy Office 2007?

Outlook XP will work on Vista but any issues with it won't be addressed
since Office XP is out of mainstream support (older than 5 years). A known
issue is that your password won't be remembered when you close and restart
Outlook. It will however remind your password for as long as you keep
Outlook running.
