Hello guys, I have a user who made several signatures. All seem to work fine, except the one with our company logo. When she sends mail (internal to a colleague or external to clients), the image in the signature will show up as a red X. This seems to happen on random occassion. We all use Outlook 2003 on a Microsoft Exchange Server. The strange thing is I haven't had that problem in any way. While other users have that same problem, but in less occasions. I can't seem to reproduce the problem, so I can't figure out what wrong. The HTML settings (Tools - Mail Format) are all set on HTML, also the convert to HTML is ticked. I got to look at her settings, the only difference is that she uses Outlook to edit her e-mails (she has several signatures that she uses). While I use Word as e-mail editor and have my signature autoassigned. The other strange thing is that when she sends me an e-mail in which the image isn't showing and I reply or forward that same e-mail the image is showing again. So my only guess is that the formatting of her signature went wrong. But on the other hand, we all use the same signature. Although I edited mine myself in Word... I'm totally in the dark here, anyone any idea? Hoping for a swift solution, since it's rather painfull and looks unproffessional when you send a company mail with a big red "x" in it. Haha Best regards, that normally happens when the mail format is Rich Text instead of HTML, could the format she is sending in be changing? If it's on replies and forwards, Outlook always uses the format of the original message. You can't force a format in that case.  SignatureBrian Tillman Thanks for the info Brian, but the thing is: The problem occures when she's composing a new e-mail. She writes the text (or none at all) and adds the company signature (she uses several, because we take some work from the hands of other companies as well). It shows fine while composing. But after she send it, for instance to me, the company logo is gone (in send items). And well some clients/customers and colleagues can't see the logo. The strange thing is that I can see it fine in my inbox. I'm starting to think it's a local displaysetting that's messing things up. I wonder... I can't get a hold on the reasons why this error occures. If I could only reproduce the problem, then I could fix it. Well if anyone has any ideas, please reply. You can't force a format in that case. Ok, I took a peek at the signaturefiles in "application data". Altered the HTML file. It was coded by Word. I took a copy of my file and entered her details. The Rich Text Format file looked good, and well the plain text file, wouldn't show a logo at all. Still no luck so far... Hey guys, Sorry I´m spamming you to death, lol, I found new info, now I got the image to show in the reply. but when I forward it it still isn´t showing. It's "recomposed" in a forward as well and a reply and it uses the format of the original message. WHen you look in Sent Items, what do you see instead of the logo? Eureka!!! I fouind the solution. Set the format to something else and then back to HTLM and delete the registry key for the secure tempfolder. Doesn't mather in which order.
