For the past two days, I've been unable to open Outlook 2007.  When I click
the icon, I receive the following error message:

Microsoft Office Outlook has stopped working.  A problem caused the program
to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if
a solution is available.

I can see the outlook window and see my folders in the far left window pain.
I also can see the calendar, but no emails appear in the inbox.  I just see
the message loading.  Earlier this week I was having trouble accessing my
entire Office 2007 suite.  My operating systems is Windows Vista.  I
contacted Dell customer support and repaired Windows Vista.  I'm able to
access all other programs with the exception of Outlook.

Have you tried creating a new Outlook profile for it to use? Rename the old
profile and create a new one, see if that helps. Let me know.

No, I haven't tried that.  Can you tell me how I would go about renaming the
old profile and creating a new one?

Control Panel - Mail - Show Profiles - Add, etc. While you're there, set the
option to Prompt for a profile to be used so that you can tell Outlook to
use the new profile rather than the old. (I don't think you can rename a
profile in Vista... not sure if it was possible in XP, either; but, that's
not key to this since you can tell Outlook which profile to use).

Thanks.  I added the new profile and told Outlook to use the new profile.  I
still cannot access Microsoft Outlook.  Any other thoughts as to what could
be causing my problems?
