Hello-
All of a sudden my outlook has stopped working. I am unable to open it. At
the bottom tray icon, I get a message stating 'outlooks is not responding'.

I am using XP. HP laptop is only about 6 months old.
Can someone provide me some pointers to resolve this?

Thanks.

I have the same problem and also posted today.
This won't fix your problem but at least you'll be able to open it and see
your message, but the layout will just be a bit different.

Right click the icon on your task bar, then left click ... selecting close.
You now want to open outlook in safe mode.  This is done by pressing (and
holding) the ctrl key while you open outlook.  It'll ask if you want to open
in safemode.  Click yes.

It's possible that this might allow you to open it normally after trying
this, but it hasn't helped for me, but at least it will open in safe mode.

Thanks Cowtoon-
I tried rebooting the computer one more time and it started working all of a
sudden. if it shows the same symptoms again, I will try what you have
suggested.
Thanks.
