Dear Sir,

I am running MS Outlook 2000 from desktop using Window 2000 Professional OS.

I notice that every time I triy to exit the program by going to File > Exit,
the message "Please wait while MS Outlook exits" appears for more than one
hour but was unable to end the program. Usualy I need to use CTR +ALT+ DEL >
Task Manager > End program to exit.

When I do this,  there is another message appears at the screen that reads "
The program has become unresponsive and have to close". I click closed the
other message that reads “This program cannot be closed. If it is being
debugged, please resume it or close the debugger list” appears. I click OK,
the program is then closed.

May I know what might have caused this problem and how to fix it ?

I need to be able to exit the program smoothly everytime after using the
Outlook 2000.

Thanks

Low

The most common issues affecting Outlook not closing are:
Fax software
Synch software (for a handheld)
AV software (disable scanning of incoming/outgoing email, your real time
scanner will catch any viruses)
Anti spam software
Add Ins or COMs that are not compatible with your version of Outlook
