After installing Outlook 2007 on a Vista workstation, I tried to setup
Outlook and I got a vbscript.dll error. Message said to run
regsvr32.exe VBscript.dll to correct the error. I did and restarted my
workstation and got the same error. Can anyone help. Thanks, Eljefe.

Hello Eljefe,

As per the error message - regsvr32.exe is nothing but the registry files
are not able to be loaded.
Follow the below mentioned steps
*Note : Please be very careful while working with Registry keys.

>Check for any pervious version of outlook installed ( Office suite as well ).
>If present please uninstall by moving to add/remove programs>click on the office suite program and click on change >uncheck outlook and click on update.
>Start>run>regedit>HKEY CURRENT USER>software>microsoft>office>outlook. (if you have any office programs like 8.0/9.0/10.0.
>hkey local machine > software>microsoft>office>outlook.
>restart the  computer .
>install outlook.

Hope this will resolve this issue.
