I have installed Outlook 2007 and all of my contacts, folders, calendars, emails, etc are there, but any time I try to send an email, NONE of my contacts are coming up in the address book. Can someone tell me how to have all of those contacts recognized as addresses? Did you configure Contacts in Outlook 2007 to be used as an Address Book? In the folder list, right-click on Contacts. Scroll to properties. Click on the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says " Show this folder as an e-mail address book." Click OK. Open a new e-mail and try again. I have just tried what you have suggested, and it was looking like that would be the place to configure, but when I go to folder list, right-click on Contacts, and properties..the check box is gray and I cannot check it. Any other suggestions? I have tried as you describe below, but when I get to the properties, outlook address book tab, the option to check mark the box is in gray and I cannot check mark it. Any other suggestions?
