customise view for messages

I run under 2003.
It is possible to customise the fields displayed in the message pane for a
folder (ie To, From, Received,Size etc.

I would like to know how to apply a particular view I have created on one
folder to all the others I have created in my inbox as I can't beleive I have
to go through each one repeating the necesary changes

Customize how?

Reset all views to their defaults with the /cleanviews command switch, then
modifiy the default views.  Any folder using the defaults will then have
your changes.  Techniques shown here:
