how do i delete/stop a message half sent

i need to stop a message that is half sent, it wont allow me to move or
delete it. i have tried disconnecting from the internet, resetting everything
it wont allow me to get rid of this message. i am using hotmail through
outlook. the file that is half sent is 17mb which is just one reason why i
want to stop it. please help me

Try opening Outlook in safe mode to see if you can delete it then:

Start > Run > outlook.exe /safe

Let me know if that helps or not.

Thankyou because of the size of the email when it finished trying to go
through hotmail knocked it back and i was then able to delete it. thankyou
for replying i will keep your suggestions in mind if i ever need to stop a
message that is smaller and hotmail wont stop :) thanks again
