Lack of AutoCorrect Functionality In Outlook 2007

We have a client who decided to upgrad only the Outlook portion of his Office
2000 suite to Outlook 2007 (thus still using Word 2000).

Now, one of most important features, AutoCorrect, plain will not work.  If
you attempt to change any settings for AutoCorrect (Tools -> Options) all of
the settings are greyed out and un-editable.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Neither.  It's a compatibility issue.  AutoCorrect comes from Word.  Outlook
can't use Word 2000 as its editor.
