Outlook 2007 ...(Not responding)

I recently had to restore my computer. I use Vista Home Premium. I had to
reinstally Office 2007. When I use Outlook and then go to another program I
am usually unable to return to using Outlook. It is as if it is gone to sleep
and I get the (Not responding) response.

Any suggestions why this is happening or what the solution is.

First try with a new Profiel via the Mail icon in Control Panel.
