After I snyc my Palm to outlook 2007 and disconnect, my calendar and contacts
are no longer on my pc.

What conduit are you using for the sync?  Are you sure you have the setting
to "Synchronize" and not to "Handheld overwrites Desktop"?

It syncs fine, but after I disconnect the palm from my pc and then try to
view my calendar and contacts on the same pc, they are blank.

I am now getting an error message on the sync screen - Different profile or
it's locked - Support code 8503001F. I'm using the same profile I always have
(or at least I think I am).

You may want to take a look through this thread,
http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=772465&SiteID=17,
and see if any of the ideas there help you -- seems like a lot of folks
solved that error code problem that way.  Hopefully that will also fix the
issue of your contacts and appointments disappearing.  If it doesn't, you
might want to repost your question in an ActiveSync forum, as this is much
more of an ActiveSync issue than it is an Outlook issue.  Good luck.
