I have a user that is under the SBS 2003 environment using outlook 2003. At
days end he always shuts down his computer... however jsut recently he has
been experiencing issues when he shuts down his e-mail, and than tries to
shut down his computer. It seems his outlook never shuts down correctly and
thus on a restart he must go through the restore method that may take 5-10
minutes. Whats seems to be going on in this case?

It might an issue with any of these.

>size of the data stored.
>add-ins
>third party software like anti virus .
>an options used to send and receive e-mails before closing outlook
>any rules set to apply before closing the outlook.
