I have the same problem. I use Outlook 2002. I went to View >
Customize Current View > ... there's a button at the bottom that
controls fonts, colors, and sizes, and overrides any other settings. I
increased the font size, Saved, and now am a happy camper.

Thanks much. However, at leat in Office 2003, it doesn't seem to let you
change the font of the autopreview of the email, which defaults to the font
it was initially sent in and which on my screen is usually very small.
thanks for your suggestion,
dt

Hi Dave,
I too have outlook 2003, and you are able to change the auto preview text.
It is in the same place just a little lower on the dialog box... Hope it
helps
