using outlook 2007 and for some reason the email replies from a specific
person are being deleted or are not viewable, I have to request to the sender
to resend to another email address so I can view and open it on another
source - not outlook

obviously this is a big nuissance, I have added this person to my safe lists
so why are there replies and not there original messages to me being deleted
or blank out?

Are you running a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook? Disable this
integration and download the items again.

What message format are you using?
What mail account type are you using?
Also, which mail client does the sender use?

>>> which mail client - how do i figure this out?
Ask ;-)

It could also be an incompatibility in conversion between he mail servers
that are involved.

What addins do you have installed for Outlook? Tools-> Trust Center-> Addins

We've seen the issue occur on some occasion but haven't been able to
pinpoint the root cause of it.

Can I interject? I am having the same issue and it is completely random (or
appears to be).

I can include headers from two emails from the same mailing list. One was
blank and one is complete.

I am having the same problem after recent install of Outlook 2007.  Quoted
parts of msg are visible and txt of msg is visible in review pane, but not in
main pane.

I disabled AV (Webroot) but did not help.

I have an interjection as well;

Seems completely random but I’ll receive an email with the headers/subject
line intact but with the body completely blank? I did a test with two
computers, one with Eudora mail client installed and the other with Outlook
2007, the Eudora receives the message fine but Outlooks body is blank?  I’m
not using AVG antivirus…

I still have not figured out how to fix this issue.  I don't have a AV
running but for some reason all the email from our headquarters on replies
only is blank.  If someone from headquarters sends me a email direct it is
fine.  Very annoying issue.

This must be a bigger problem then I originally thought, there are alot of
posts with people receiving blank replies on this board alone.
