help me out. when you ask if I see data in OE where are you referring to?

You have data files that was available to you in Outlook Express on a
different machine, yes?
You've moved the data to this machine and immediately tried to import in
Outlook, but no data comes in.
If you open Outlook Express on the machine where you have copied the data,
do you see what you are looking to import? Outlook can not import raw
Outlook Express data files It won't just look at a (what are they again? I
always forget. dbf?) file. Outlook Express is the engine that is used to do
the import. If you open Outlook Express and the data is not there, then
that is why nothing is being imported.
