I have a small network in my office.  5 PC's running XP.  4 can connect to
the exchange server and send/receive email.  The 5th PC just stopped all of a
sudden on Monday.  I treid a couple of things like deleting the account and
re-adding it.  But now I can't even add the account again because i can't get
to the server.  I've read around this group and have not been able to find a
solution to the problem.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can you ping the Exchange server from that PC?

yes.  It pings completely fine.  The other weird thing is when I hit
send/receive it just locks up outlook.  It says send/receive was completed
but emails still stay in the outbox.

Close Outlook. Delete the old profile. Restart the PC. Recreate the profile.
Let me know what happens.

DUH!!! That's NOT what I meant to tell you. I don't mean the Outlook profile,
I actually meant the NT profile. Back up any locally held data and delete the
NTuser.dat file. You will likely have to recreate everything on the NT
profile, including the Outlook profile.
Are there any errors in the Event Viewer? Look for eventID number and source.

I am not getting any error messages in the event viewer.  It just locks up on
me.

I did what you said.  When i recreated the profile after restarting and added
the account it locks up and does not respond.

Do the username and servername resolve at all? Have you tried adding the
Exchange server into the hosts file? Have you checked the network properties
on that PC?
