Can't send email messages...

I had 5 email messages in my outbox that were never sent. I tried deleting
them when Outlook started it's scheduled send/receive routine.

Now I can't send any email message from any of the 4 different email
accounts I have. I can receive email messages fine but when trying to send, I
get the following error...

Task '(my_domain).com - Sending' reported error (0x80042109) : 'Outlook
cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to
receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service
provider (ISP).'

My SMTP server has not changed and is configured correctly, there are no
problems with the server. Again, I'm getting this error on all 4 of my email
accounts that all use different SMTP servers. Receving email messages is
working fine. It's definetly somthing in Outlook.

I've restared my computer several times and have run the Outlook diagnostics
program but nothing helps.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Joe

Thanks for the reply Peter.

I actually discovered the problem. I recently switched my DSL provided to
AT&T.

After a little investigating I found out that AT&T blocks port 25 for
outgoing mail servers...which was the port being used for my all of differnet
email servers.

I've changed my smtp mail servers to port 465 using AT&T's info and all is
working fine.

Thanks again!

Joe
