How do i get my incom. mail to go to inbox and unread mail folder

I would like incoming mail to go to both the inbox and another folder i've
called unread mail this feature was on my machine but disappeared last week
could someone help me with the steps to reinstate this function please

What version of Outlook are you using? Recent versions have a feature called
"Search Folders" where you can create a folder that shows all unread
messages
