this happens to the same people e-mail, but not to everyone I e-mail. They
do not get the attachments when I send the e-mail through Outlook. The
attachments are converted into a file they can not open. If I send the
e-mail directly from the Comcast web site they get the attachments. Is
Outlook doing something to the attachments (mostly they are Excel, Word or
Photos), the person on the other end has Office 2003 and I am using office
2003.
From your description this issue seems that it is on the receivers end. Ask them to try and disable their AV integration(email scanning). Also if the file is very large their ISP can have a limit set for them to receive.

When I send the same atachmetn to the same person vis the comcast web site
they are able to open it. This is why I thouhgt Outlook had something to do
with it.
