I'm having that issue where outlook is checking the restricted sites, this
user has literally thousands in the list- it's from an old install of spyware
blaster that's no longer there,
question is, is there a way to remove all the sites at once?

There is a registry key that contains a reference to all the domains in all
the zones, but I thnk it unwise to remove that entire key, sicne you'd be
removing the references from the other zones as well.  I've seen reference
to posts in which some people have claimed they've done it, but my
examination of the key doesn't explain to me how.

You can find them here in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings\ZoneMap\Domains

You can delete the keys under there that reference the domains you want
removed. Not sure what happens if you remove the whole Domains key &
recreate it

Via the registry;
Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\

Depending on the tool they are either inserted in HKCU or HKLM

However, that key also contains the Trusted and Local Intranet domains as
well, it seems to me.  Removing that entire key would affect all zones.

I know, it was just a reference to where they are stored. The OP can decide
which one to keep.
A full reset on IE7 will also clear it.
