How do I add a link in Outlook message that looks like a phrase?

I want to add a phrase that is in reality a link. I can do it in Excel and
Word but Outlook has stumped me.

What version of Outlook?  What mail format?

If you're sending in HTML, you should be able to insert a URL in pretty much
the same way as every other Office application.
