Problem with bccing myself...

I have Outlook 2003 and use gmail as my server.  I used to not get anything I
sent directly to myself or cc or bcc, now I created a rule to get around the
"To" issue (so I can receive emails when i send them directly to myself), but
I still cannot get them when I cc or bcc myself.  For work, this is necessary
for me.  The only way I can keep any copy of the info I sent 9Except those
sent directly to me) is to go into my sent file each time and drag it to
another folder.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem?  please....

Hi Hillari,

I had the same issue with my gmail account. I solved it by creating a second
account at gmail (they are free) and BCC'ing to that account. Of course I set
up Outlook to pick up the mail from that second account. It works like a
charm. My BlackBerry is set up to pick up the mail from the first account and
automatically send a BCC to the second account so I have a record in Outlook.

Thanks so much for this hacker-type work around!!  It will solve my problem
in the meantime.  If anyone else has the "real way" to fix it, please let me
know!

Thanks Tom.
