Outlook 2003 will not send/receive email.
Nothing happens. No error message.
Event viewer gives the following notice:
"outlook 2003  send receive operation failed id 27".
If I log out/in then Outlook will be back to full functioning send/receive
ability.
This will last for a while; then again Outlook 2003 will not send/receive
email.
Any idea?
Thks,
Enea

How many and which type of mail accounts do you have configured?

Hi Robert,
Thks for your response.
I have seven POP3 accounts.
I do not know if relevant but I would like to give another little detail:
the trouble pop up all times when I copy and paste an Email address within
outlook or I just hit the reply button. Then send/receive ability is lost.
But if I log out/in XP then Outlook will be back to its full send/receive
ability.
Thank you and best regards

Enea

Have you verified that all accounts are configured and working correctly?
Are these POP3 accounts all from the same ISP?
To what interval have you set your automatic send/receive?

Hi Robert,
All accounts are working correctly.
These accounts are from 2 ISP.
Automatic send/receive box is unchecked. It is manually done.
Thks,
Enea
